Day 39....Monday Feb 9

Today we watched a "rig move". They are setting up to drill a Coalbed Methane well in the field across the road from our house. Naturally, this was very interesting to Jim and I.

Going in......the new road snakes around along the edge of the field. There were many loads taken in - including four 'shacks'! A big operation.

One truck coming out, empty...and one going in meet in front of our front window. Actually, the proper terms would be that the truck coming out would be 'loaded' and the one going in would be 'empty'......logging terms that describe whether you are going up a mountain cut line or down.

All set up at night......I love the bright artificial light! No shadows on a rigsite.
