Day 119 - Thursday April 30

A busy day......in which I do not feel real good.

I woke yesterday with cold symptoms. They seem to come and go, but I always feel 'drained' and 'headachy'.

In spite of this, we had an appointment in town and needed to pick up the mail.....this is how I entertained myself while Jim went in for the mail:

After supper (which Jim made) we paid a visit to Andrew where Thor posed for a photo.

After we left Andrew's, we dropped some papers off at Kathryn's and went in for a bit of a visit. Of course, I took photos of Seth.....

He sat on Papa's lap with his blankie - as soon as he sees the blanket, he starts sucking.....

but, after a cuddle with his blanket, he got off Papa's lap and entertained us with his playing - and jumping - and tickling his mommy's feet.

Day 118 Wednesday, April 29

Sal decided to 'pose' for me.....

My house smells like potatoes and here's why.....

It is a rather 'earthy' smell - not entirely unpleasant, but better suited to a root cellar.
At least we have plenty of seed potatoes. We are planning to supply all the kids for the winter and have some left for seed the next year.

Day 117 Tuesday, April 28

Melanie and Ken came over for supper and a visit.

I forgot to take a photo of them, so instead, we have the aftermath of the visit.....

Day 116 - Monday, April 27

I totally forgot to take a photo today.....until we were on our way home from visiting at Andrew's so, Jim took a photo or two of the dash......

Must have hit a bump.....

This is our radio/heater ........

Not the most interesting photo post, but what can ya do?

Day 115 - Sunday, April 19

We attended 'Daystar' today - the church Rob and Lana attend. Titus was being 'dedicated' during the service.

Our 'other son', Nialle was leading worship.....

.........and rocking his guitar.

First, one of the elders prayed for Robert and Lana....

Then, Senior Pastor, Ed Allen prayed for Titus....

Back at their house, we all had lunch - including Ty, who is now eating solid food.....

Some of us had 'after church naps'.......

Jim, Rob, and Andrew (when he wasn't napping) watched "THE RACE"..... the NASCAR race, that is. Since we do not have TV, it has been a very long time since Jim was able to enjoy watching the race.
We had a Spring Snow Storm for about 2 hours during the afternoon. This is what the tree outside the window looked like just as the rate of the falling snow started to slow down.

Here is the same tree 15 minutes later.....

And.....another photo of Titus......

Day 114 - Saturday, April 25

The first birthday party of our great nephew, Levi Allan Graham - son of our niece, Janice. We travelled to Crossfield to celebrate with Levi and his family.....

Levi's big brother, Luca shared his cake with his 'friend', George....

Such sweet little boys!

Day 113 - Friday, April 24

Vinjelu and Kathryn performed at the 'Sentry Youth Center' in Millet tonight.

I went along to look after Seth, Jim went to 'run sound' for them.

"Hurry up, Gramma"

Running toward me

First photo I've gotten of Vinj performing that isn't blurry!

Taking advantage of some of the amenities at the Youth Center

"orange ball in the side pocket"

Taking a break between sets

Seth is going to play percussion for his mom and dad at their next gig.

Day 112 - Thursday, April 23

Finished cleaning my kitchen china cabinet....almost forgot about the top shelf - our collection of teacups.

And here is the nice supper we made......

Day 111...Wednesday, April 22

Jim and I (and Andrew) accompanied Vinjelu and Kathryn to Edmonton where they went to the 3D Ultrasound again. The first time they went, they were unable to get any real clear shots of Baby's face because of her position. They were given another appointment for no extra cost.

The office is in the LaMarchand Mansion, just off Jasper Ave. This building was the first apartment building in Western Canada, built in 1905. The craftsmanship is truly beautiful.....

Seth and Papa played in the waiting room while the rest of us went in and looked at pictures of our newest little girl on a big screen TV.

Andrew and Jim wait in the front foyer.......

The Muyaba's meet us downstairs, with photos of Baby in hand......

By this time, we were all hungry, so we called Mike and Victoria to meet us at "Montana's" for supper.
Seth and Kaden were happy to see each other, and they shared the crayons .....

Here is Seth waving goodbye.......

Uncle Andrew and Mommy read Kaden his favorite story.....(he likes the drumming part)

Day 110....Tuesday, April 21

Spent the day plugging numbers into the computer....again.

The dishwasher quit working Sunday night. It was full when it quit - at the beginning of the cycle. Today, Jim washed all those dishes by hand.

A slightly different take on the sunset.....
