Day 315. Wednesday. November. 25

Kathryn and I (with Seth's 'help') set up the 'Sunday School' room today. Except that church is on Saturday so maybe it is Saturday School.....except that for a reason unknown to me, the children's ministry is called 'Bugs Club'. I call it Sunday School so I don't have to explain to someone that does not go to our church what Bugs Club is. It is Sunday School, OK?

Rob and Lana went to the hockey game. I got to spend the evening with their kids (and Seth). Once Ty was asleep and supper gotten out of the way, the girls and I played a game of 'Life'. The girls were in top 'silliness' most of the time.

Day 312 Sunday, November 22

Sophie takes a chance to cuddle with Grampa while he watches the Western Final Football Game. Riders won! YAY!

Day 311 Saturday, Nov 21

Jim was home today and Seth came over for the afternoon. You can see by his face that he was painting with him mom that morning. What you cannot see in this photo is all the paint all over his pants and shirt. LOL.

Day 310 Friday November 20

Dan put foam board insulation into the dog house today....increasing the ability of the lamps to keep the dog house warm.

I began to move bins from the back entry down to the new shelves at the bottom of the stairs today.

Jim's truck broke last night. Donny A fixed it this morning. I drove it out to him at work this afternoon.

I was pleasantly surprised to run into my cousin and girlhood best friend, Ruth at Safeway this afternoon. We sat down for a quick visit.

Since it was a stat holiday, Jim had the day off. Mom and Dad H, Andrew, and Vinj and Kath came out for lunch and a chance to visit with Jim.

Day 300 Tuesday, November 10

I took my truck to Jim at his worksite today.....he moved his office into my truck then I took his truck to our mechanic friend to have the front end replaced. This is most of what I saw of my hubby while I was at his site......while he was getting all his paraphanalia out of his truck.

Came home this afternoon to this handsome young man keeping my son company.

Day 298 - Sunday, Nov 8

"Church Service" at the retreat......We all wondered why Vinj got up and started loading himself down with all their bags and baby paraphanalia. Turns out, he was giving us an illustration of how we carry things with us on our journey that really have nothing to do with our final destination - Heaven.

Day 297 - Saturday, Nov 7

Full day of the Retreat......The young men started a game of fooseball, making LOTS of noise and Taliah startled, throwing her hands up to her face and head. She would not take them down, either....was she trying to cover her ears?

Daya 296 - Friday, Nov 6

First evening of LifeGate's Retreat Weekend. I went for a few hours - before Jim came home. Here, Jon C is teaching Seth how to play airhockey.

Day 2 on building me some shelves. Dan is doing a good job....he is very meticulous.

Daniel is building me some shelves at the bottom of the stairs. This is the beginning.

Day 293 - Tuesday, November 3

This is what I had for supper tonight....one of my favorites. Spaghetti squash topped with lean ground beef in spaghetti sauce and a big side of roasted veggies....parsnips, turnips, carrots, and squash (Delicta, in this case).

Yummy.

Day 292....Monday, November 2

Jim went to work early this morning but found that his wellhead was leaking. He could not get the services out to fix it today so he was home at about noon.

He worked all day from home.

Jim could not work this morning due to the wet snow that had fallen overnight and the rain that was falling in the morning. So, we returned home together (well, in 2 vehicles). We stopped to visit Vinj and Kath and the kids.

Seth likes to wipe Taliahs mouth when she spits up....
