Day 58 - Saturday, February 28

The last day of the month......of course, if you are moving - or helping someone move - this is a busy day.

Some wonderful people came by Vinjelu and Kathryn's old home to help clean it for new tenants today........

Lisa F not only brought her vacuum cleaner, she vacuumed in preparation for the Carpet Cleaners.

Lisa's girls, Anna and Esther were a big help - they spot cleaned walls, wiped out cupboards, helped with the bathroom, and babysat Kaden

Desire A.....A cleaning machine! Not the most flattering shot, but the only one I took.

Victoria decides that Andrew's face needs to be washed along with everything else.

Even the hardest workers need a coffee (or cookie) break

Later, Andrew, Victoria, Daniel, Kaden and I took a break and went to BP's for some lunch.

It is lovely to know that there are people who care about you enough to use their Saturday to clean and move for you.....Thanks to everyone for their help!

Day 56.....Thursday February 26

I spent most of the day at the Muyaba's today....helping them with the last of their packing and looking after Seth when he wasn't napping.

The piano Vinjelu was given as the winner of the songwriting competition at the GMC talent search last fall has been delivered. Obviously, this is no ordinary keyboard!!!! This whole pile of huge boxes is the "keyboard". Massive!

Vinjelu is a hard worker.....he has had to do most of the moving himself since there is usually no one else available when he isn't working. Not that Kathryn hasn't worked as well....but besides helping with the packing, Vinjelu has also been taking loads of boxes to the 'new place' every day for the past week or so.

Moving must take a back seat at times, to your job. Here is Kathryn at work in her capacity as administrator for their church...

Me thinks we need a bigger bin...... An older gentleman from the church brought by 2 huge, brand new rubbermaid bins for Vinj and Kath. These toys were transfered to the larger bin.

And guess what!? No photos of Seth! How did I manage that?

But, on my way home, I was treated to the silver sliver of the new moon. The camera I carry with me could not capture it, at all so I had to wait till I got home to get my bigger camera. By then, the moon was low on the horizon and no longer silver......but I tried to capture it anyway. I don't stand quite as till as a tripod so the photo is not real sharp, but.....

Day 41 - Feb 11, Wednesday

Went to Vinj and Kath's today to see how I could help with their moving preparations.

Kathryn asked me to "whip up" some carrot soup for their supper while she and Vinj sorted through their clothing. So, that is what I did.......

The beginning of a yummy soup.

A delicious pot of soup, if I do say so myself.

Daniel came home from work while the soup was cooking, giving me someone to talk to. He is beginning to feel sick - sore throat, etc. But, he is excited to have been accepted into the DTS at the Montana YWAM base.

He's looking good, isn't he?

I also helped Kathryn sort, lable and pack Seth's clothing and then we went through the toys - tossing some, sending some home with me, packing some, and choosing some to take with them where ever they are moving to.

Then, as Danny left for Youth Group, I stayed at the house to listen for Seth (who was asleep) while Vinj and Kath went to talk to a girl about a house.

Of course, no visit to the Muyaba's would be complete without a photo of our little Seth:
