The girls stayed overnight last night. Emma stayed up very late, watching slides with us. That didn't stop her from getting up with the sun (literally). By midmorning, she was throwing up - we think, from fatigue.
She felt better after awhile, though, and enjoyed lunch with her sisters.

Rob and Lana came to pick the girls up late in the afternoon. They did a 'mercy run' to the grocery store in order to get creamer for their dad.....
They stayed long enough for a short visit and for Titus to have his midafternoon snack....
Later on, when Jim was downstairs looking for old files, he discovered this.....
That hole is through the basement wall out to the area beside the front step....OUTSIDE!
Gee, I wonder if maybe that is a major entry point for mice?
And in case you are wondering, the top 1/3 of our basement walls are made of wood. Unfortunately, with UNtreated wood, resulting in rot.
