Day 258 Monday Sept 28

It has been more than 2 months since 'the girls' and I met for Bible Study. It was good to get back 'to it'.

We talked about 1 Cor ch 7 - but we had to stop before we were through with the chapter...there was just so much to talk about in that portion of scripture!

Melanie and Suzanne cuddled on the love seat while we waited for everyone to arrive...







After we wrapped up, we visited casually for about half an hour - Ada came and sat on Kathryn's lap to read a book. Guess she thought Seth looked comfy there.

Taliah is growing very fast!

Liam came in sporting a new 'cool' hat that his Uncle Joshua bought for him. Doesn't he look cute?

Seth thought he needed a hat, too - so he grabbed Sophia's bike helmet.

I am already looking forward to our next meeting! Two weeks from today, Ladies!

Day 128 ~ Saturday, May 9

Today we travelled to Edmonton....



To see the Celsius Youth Theater perform 3 one act plays.

Joshua T is one of the top 3 or so performers in this group of teens......

This is Levi T's first appearance in the CYT.....

Josh actually played two parts....

After the afternoon performance, we went for supper with Dan and Arlene. It was great to visit until they had to hurry back for the evening performance.

On our way home, we stopped at Andrew's to check out his newly painted living room....

The photo doesn't do the dark olive green justice, really. It looks very nice.

Day 123 ~ May 4, Monday

My day in pictures.....

1. Ada and Ty playing together at our 'Girl's Bible Study'.....



2. Vanessa was babysitting Seth, so she walked with all 3 kids......

3. Jim and I planted about 175 potatoe plants this afternoon.......

4. Emma had her first soccer game/practice tonight.......

Day 47...Tuesday, Feb 17

A special day......as any day with a precious friend is special.

We realized that while I have some photos of Arlene (very few) and she has even fewer of me, we have no photos of us together (except one from my birthday this past year) so we roped Joshua into being behind the camera for a BBF photo shoot.



Levi was going to Tai Kwon Do as soon as I left.....does this cute guy look like a martial arts expert to you? I know, it's that cute smile....it is deceptive. Really, those hands (and feet) should be registered as weapons!

I'm not sure what Joshua was doing hanging off the railing, but that is where he was when I turned around to take a candid shot of him.....love his smile.

Anyway, spending the afternoon just hangin' with someone who knows you well and loves you anyway is much better than cleaning house or paying bills, I say.

Day 45...Sunday, Feb 15

Rob and Lana had us all over for supper and a Wii Party.....well, Mike and Tor could not be there, and Jim was working, but the rest of us were there - and as a bonus, Nialle and Nessa also came.

Lana made chicken noodle soup and homemade buns....Keltie brought veggies....I brought sandwich fixin's....Ness brought dessert.

8 wk old Titus and 7 month old Ada (Nialle and Nessa's little one) seemed to be quite taken with one another. Ty looks almost as big as Ada!

Emma was sad because the Wii party turned out to be a talking party.....but I left early, so maybe they played Wii after I left. Poor Em.....she was looking forward to beating her dad, uncles, and aunties at Wii.
